I've learned...

I've learned - that it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.

I've learned - that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them.

I've learned - that no matter how much I care, some people just don't care back.

I've learned - that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it.

I've learned - that it's not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts.

I've learned - that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes. After that, you'd better know something.

I've learned - that no matter how thin you slice it, there are always two sides.

I've learned - that it's a lot easier to react than it is to think.

I've learned - that learning to forgive takes practice.

I've learned - that sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

I've learned - that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.

I've learned - that just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, it doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

I've learned - that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

I've learned - that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I've learned - that it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I've learned - that no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop for your grief.

I've learned - that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.

I've learned - that sometimes when my friends fight, I'm forced to choose sides even when I don't want to.

I've learned - that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

I've learned - that two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

I've learned - that there are many ways of falling and staying in love.

I've learned - that your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you.

I've learned - that even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help.

I've learned - that the paradigm we live in is not all that is offered to us.

I've learned - that it's hard to determine where to draw the line between being nice and not hurting people's feelings and standing up for what you believe.

"Wait for the guy who pursues you, the one who will make an ordinary moment seem magical, the kind of guy who brings out the best in you and makes you want to be a better person. Wait for the guy who will be your best friend, the person who will drop everything to be with you no matter the circumstances. Wait for the guy who makes you smile like no other and when he smiles you know he needs you. Wait for the guy who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats and have no makeup on, but appreciates it when you get all dolled up for him. Most of all wait for the guy who will put you at the center of his universe, because obviously he's at the center of yours." - I stole this from Ging...=) Thank you!

L: What a weekend this has been. I just got back from working the Bears Game for AASIA and showered. How nice it feels to be clean. =) The Bears game was ok...got to play with some cool scanner things to scan the tickets when people came in but didn't get to see the game this time. Hopefully next time! Thank you to all of you who came out today and went to the game. Thanks to Carlo,Ging, Patti,Jerome, Charlene,Ben,Garry, Charles, Jurdylene, Joy, Michelle, and Dandcee. You guys are all awesome and I hope you guys had some fun and do know how much I appreciate and love you all! =)

Friday was a busy day as well. Woke up after a nice night with Carlo on Thursday. Then got up to eat and take a long run around the track. 40 minutes of exercising and running when you haven't done it in a year is way crazy. Then back to head to Carlo to get his hair cut, have dinner, and try to find a costume for Rob's party that night. I actually had a lot of fun at his party. There was good company and I had a lot of fun being with friends.

Carlo (Isn't he cute in his giraffe costume, Me, and Santi)

Saturday woke up way early to get to my DPhiE event. I love all of you guys very much and know that I will forever be your sister. I am wishing for all of the best. That was a long long crazy time there...then home to try and fix things with my mom. With all of the stress on her back I guess she has taken it all out on me and driven me crazy for the past week. But home was good and everything seems much better but I wish there were more I could for her with the crazy people she works with and the situations she is in. All I can do is work hard and do my best in school so when I am done I can help her like she has helped me. Then went to one of my good friends who I have known forever grandma's house cause his grandpa just passed away. I am praying for him and your family but know he is in a good place and is now in the company of my grandma. Stay strong and know that I am here for you. Then went back to school to spend my 10 month anniversary with my baby. I love you very very much and can't believe we have been together for this long. I don't know what I would have done in my life without you being by my side all of these months or what I would have done without the love that you have always shown me. What a nice date we finally had! Actually we had 3 dates this past week which were all amazing! =) Now we just have a few other things to work on and we are all set. =) I love you! You are amazing!

Now on to homework and finishing up some laundry. Take care and I hope to hear from you all soon!!

L: What a week this has been! Thank goodness it is Thursday night! My weekend has finally begun although I still have so much left to do. My week started out a little stressful and ended up a little stressful so I am glad to finally have everything done with. My day at my school was awesome! The little kids in my classroom are great and was asking me for help all during the day with their book reports and math assignments. Luckily all the math stuff was easy so I could still remember. =) Then this week has been filled with meetings and one project. After all of the hardwork and practice my group the presentation on Wednesday went amazingly. We all did a great job and the stress of that assignment was finally done. Amongst meetings, shopping for my DPhiE daughter, and everything else today was a good day. Spent some time with Carlo's parents for lunch after class, worked on my letters for DPhiE..next time I cannot wait til the last minute! had a very good productive meeting with my AASIA execs, and then on to my DPhiE meeting and dinner which was nice. Stress...and more stress...but things are better and this weekend is hopefully time to relax and have some fun. Getting a haircut and color tomorrow and spending some much needed quality time with Carlo, then home Saturday and DPhiE stuff Sat night. Then hopefully a restful Sunday with homework and Carlo. Time to rest and wait to have dinner with Carlo, thanks to Ashley and Hooters.
